Travelodge by Wyndham Downtown Barrie

1- Location was perfect! At least for my purpose. Right off the 400 and 5 mins. away from East Bayfield Community Centre, on Livingstone St. E. Which is just behind the Georgian Mall, Walmart, Chick-fil-A and many more. !!!**PRIME LOCATION**!!! 2- The cleaning staff treated the room as it were my own. They were respectful of all my belongings and always made sure I had everything I might've needed. Thanks to their amazing work, I always had fresh/clean towels and a beautifully made bed; a bed that was amazingly comfortable! Counter and table tops always wiped down. (I know they did with a little "test" in different areas on said surface.) I also happy to say the cleaning staff assigned to my floor/room took the time to properly clean the floors. (Again, other little "test" strips) something, that in most hotels is neglected. 3- The free breakfast here was much better than I expected. To be quite honest, I planned on "biting the bullet" and just buying breakfast every morning for the next week. To my surprise (sorry guys!) It was great! From far, it may not look like much but there's a nice variety of breakfast and nutritional things. Waffles, cereal, eggs and yogurt to name a few. Oh, and waffles? You guys have waffles!! AMAZING!

We were pleasantly surprised by our assigned Room 246. Room was as advertised and at a decent price in today's market and summer weekend travel season. Good that they have significantly improved from the low ratings we found online. Suggestion made to take the time to thoroughly clean and shine up the toilet and tub. Did not look to see or use the pool you se in pictures. We would stay here again.

breakfast was hot (Waffles , toast , eggs , sausages coffee tea hot chocolate ) and cold (muffins , cereal , yogurt , 3 types of juice) . Stayed 3 days and was able to have different meal each morning. Grand kids spent alot of time in the indoor pool . Close to many resturants and about an hour to Santas village in Bracebridge .

I loved the rooms, the beds were super comfortable and clean. The location was perfect not to far from downtown or up to the malls. A bit busy in the morning for breakfast but they did keep the breakfast area open for half and hour later. The pool was exceptionally clean and warm. Lots of towels to dry off.

The room was a good size with a very comfortable queen bed. The breakfast was better than I seen at other motels. The staff were very courteous and friendly. The motel was very clean
